Summary

Hospital Pharmacy or Clinical Pharmacy is a specialty that focuses on the patient's follow-up treatment of the patient in the hospital with respect to his or her medication doses, taking into consideration the age of the patient, the gender of the patient, the state of health and the presence of other diseases such as in the cases of kidney or liver function and dosage control.

The main job of the clinical pharmacist is to know the appropriate medicine, the right patient, the right dose, the right time, the clinical pharmacist is concerned with the side effects, the negative effects of the drug and the possible interactions between the drugs. It has relations with all the departments of the hospital, in particular the analytical laboratories and the radiography center, hence the importance of specialization in clinical pharmacy.
